Who runs UFW?

  1. UFW is primarily run by two staff members - the Prez, and the Vice Prez (VP).  The Prez moderates the Roleplay Board, maintains the rest of the site, creates the match results from the generator (see below in "How is UFW Run?".  The VP is responsible for "special cards" not including the monthly Pay Per View

  2. There are other people who contribute with ideas and writing matches, and other people who fill in when either the Prez or VP are unavailable

How is UFW Run?

  1. UFW holds three cards of simulated or written pro wrestling matches a week, with a monthly Pay Per View (its not really "Pay Per View" in that you have to pay to read it, its just filled with top notch matches and title defences from UFW's main players).  The number of matches in these cards is determined by the Prez, but is usually eight per standard card, and all titles defended plus special matches for Pay Per View Cards.

  2. To participate in matches in any of these cards, members must use the Roleplay Board to get themselves into a match or start a feud with another member.  Once a potential match as been established, either or both of the match participants fill in the match registration form.  The match is inserted in the first available spot in a UFW Card.

  3. The match outcomes are determined by a match simulator.  UFW uses Zeus 4.0.2, which can be obtained from geeksoft.net.   Match outcomes are not decided by UFW's Prez or VP.  The Generator decides all matches.

  4. Members can increase their chances of winning by posting quality roleplays.  The quality is determined by the Prez, who will add "Push Points" or attribute values to the member's character as he sees fit.  The better the posting, the more push points.  High Push Points do not guarantee victory, but certainly do help.  For example, the character with a higher push point value might win eight out of ten matches run with the a character with a lower value.  The character with the lower value still has a chance to win, but the odds are with the character with higher value.  Attribute values are strength, vitality, speed and charisma (the ability to generate crowd reaction, which in turn spurs the performer on to greater heights).
