Adding HTML to your posts

This information courtesy of WLWA E-FED.   Reproduced with permission.

Rules courtesy of the UFW Prez, who will not be happy if any of them are disobeyed ;)

HTML Code can be used in the Message area when posting to enhance the appearance of your post.  This is a little help for beginners.  Just make sure that you have the right URL (place in the internet where your data is stored) and that you close all of your commands.  UFW cannot host picture or sound files for you if you do not have space to host them for yourself.

Rules for using HTML on the UFW Post Area:

  1. Do not link to any copyrighted material or inappropriate graphical or sound material.  For copyrighted material, the first offence will incur a 20 push point penalty.  For inappropriate material or a second offence on copyright material, the penalty is instant dismissal from UFW's Roster.  (There ways of finding out who posted any message.)
  2. Do not include HTML in the subject line of your post.  Penalty - 10 push points if the message board remains intact.  Penalty 25 push points if the message board is rendered useless.
  3. Do not make the font size too large.  If you are uncertain of how large it is going to be, test it on your own computer prior to posting the message on UFW's message board.  Too large is anything that the Prez has to fix so that people can read it, or is annoying to read because of size.  Penalty - something nasty!
